Mouse Cursor are "scrambled" in Ubuntu 13.10
Hello,
I'm pretty sure this is an xorg related question, but I wanted to post here in the hope that somebody can direct me.
I recently stepped up to Ubuntu 13.10 (actually I'm running xubuntu but I'm thinking that's not going to make a difference).
Linux XX 3.11.0-12-generic #19-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 9 16:12:00 UTC 2013 i686 athlon i686 GNU/Linux
I am experiencing issues with mouse cursors in remote desktop sessions - for some "non-standard" cursor shapes on remote windows (XP and 7) instances I get "bleed-thru" of my desktop background. I tried taking a screenshot, but I cannot capture it - one of the reason why I believe this to be a Windows issue.
I have been using Remote Desktop sessions on 13.04 with success ever since I started using it (and X/Ubuntu releases prior to that).
Since the problem happens when I use KRDC to an instance of Windows XP running on my local machine, as well as running Remote Desktop over the Internet (to my work location) I'm not quite sure how to go about trying to debug this.
Any assistance or a re-direct are welcome.
