Bad LCD record 217

Asked by Phil Norisez

Hello,

I just installed 12.04 LTS on a VAIO laptop and am getting the below on the console during boot. While it looks bad, the system seems to work. I would like to know if this is a known issue, and how severe it is. I have the system set up as a dual boot with Windows 7. Thanks.

Phil Norisez

The operative phrase being "Ubuntu 12.04.3 is not supported." I hope there is a 12.04.4 and that it is supported...
