Anti virus pre installed in ubuntu

Could you please make ubuntu have pre installed Anti virus to protect computer. My friend have Kubuntu And And i installed Aegis virus scanner and it detected a Virus. Please make Ubuntu have Virus scanner Pre installed on it..

Many people are of the opinion that you don't need to run an anti-virus package on Linux. Indeed the vast majority of people I know don't run one.

Personally I don't run one, but that's because I don't consider Viruses to be a threat to me under Linux.

There are other antivirus packages available such as AVG and ClamAV you might want to look at.

You doesn't need and antivirus at all in Linux. The only reason to have an antivirus in Linux is that your Linux box serves file/mail/... to Windows clients and you want to scan this files/mail/... before the windows machines access to them.

My windows do not have viruses i've scan it today. I think someone just send a windows virus.
