no consigo detectar mis monitores

hola!!
tengo instalado ubuntu 13.04 con la grafica integrada "Intel® G41 x86/MMX/SSE2" y no consigo que detecte mis monitores.
uno es un lg m2262d y el otro asus vh192d.
he probado a instalar desde intel y no hay manera.
muchas gracias de antemano
