simple-scan fragmentation error

It used to work in previous versions HP3670scanjet. I am using now 64XU13.10 and it does not work. In terminal it reports error: fragmentation
anything I can do?

I suggest you report a bug. Saucy is not ready, not stable and not for normal users. If you need an OS that works then I recommend a clean install of Precise which is not only LTS and supported long after Saucy is EOL but is also known to be rock solid.

You are using a pre-release and bits may be missing and not work......what did you expect!?

It worked in previos versions as they were released and known to work. Your OS is known to NOT work, so it makes complete sense.
