Intel sound driver problem saucy

Asked by Ivan Vrljić

I have problem with sound on 13.10 64bit GNOME (same problem happens on fresh intallation of regular 13.10 64 bit). It was fine on all previous versions of Ubuntu.

The problem is that there is no output sound at all in whole system after few minutes of using my laptop. I have noticed this problem when I play flash video (on Youtube etc.), it works fine for a while then the sound stops, and I have to go to sound settings and turn sound off/on, and everything works fine for a while, and same thing happens again. I have tried Chrome, Chromium, Firefox, but it doesnt help. It's really annoying.

Output sound device: HDA Intel MID ALC272X Analog

I suggest you report a bug.

Saucy is not stable, not ready and not for normal users.

Can you help with this problem?
