Hi Bob. As the first solution I will suggest EasyBCD - a powerful bootloader-modification tool (http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/). Here you can find some information how to make a Ubuntu/Windows dual-boot. For example you can make it by "Adding Ubuntu to the Windows Bootloader": https://neosmart.net/wiki/easybcd/dual-boot/linux/ubuntu/#Adding_Ubuntu_to_the_Windows_Bootloader

Best regards.

How did you install Ubuntu? Did you install using Wubi or did you resize your NTFS and install to the freed space?

Thanks

You said "inside Windows 7" . This is a wubi installation (you used wubi.exe) and it is not a regular install. It is just for testing, to see how Ubuntu is.. etc.

Please use the control panel on Windows and remove any Ubuntu entry (remove programs).

Then consider to install Ubuntu alongside Windows (not inside).
