Asked by bluesquare

Hallo Friends,
I am on Ubuntu 12.04.2 with kernel version 3.11 (recently upgraded from 3.2 BECAUSE OF SO MANY ANNOYING CRASHES) and my system is always getting freeze and crashes and I am just kind unable to figure out the matter.
I just checked my crash report and it says something about below:

executable path:
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/tumbler-1/tumblerd

package
tumbler 0.1.24-0ubuntu1

problem type
crash

title
tumblerd crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_is_a()

etc etc etc..

plese help me to sort it out this problem

thanks.

Have you tried the 3.5 kernel from the backports repo rather than a kernel compiled by some random?
