You can find the current packages of hardy heron in http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/. You can also find the same information at the repository you use (the file is Packages.gz)

As you can see at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardyReleaseSchedule the FeatureFreeze is on Feb. 14th. After that packages will only be upgraded with a freeze exception. This means the versions that will be used will stabilise rapidly now.

Hope this helps.

That helps a bit, but then I was already aware of those links. What I'm really looking for is a list like this:

For ubuntu Hardy Heron:

Gnome will be upgraded to version 2.2
KDE will be upgraded to version 4.1
.
.
.
etc

also you can track changes in development of Hardy Heron by subscribing to this list.. Ref:

https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/Hardy-changes

Hope that helps

Thanks for the suggestions. There is good information in all those places. However, it doesn't get to the heart of my question:

Where can I find a list of *planned* package upgrades for Ubuntu Hardy Heron?

ALL the packages will be packaged and uploaded for verification from the revu team and If its approved it will be uploaded to the repos.. and those packages as Ralph said can be found at http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/ and according to the release schedule Feature freeze is on feb 14th and packages will be tested out and uploaded with the freeze exception.. As I said earlier the mailing list gives you more info on developmental changes of hardy. If you want to know what are the updates in hardy alpha please refer:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardyHeron/Alpha4

(For detailed list of changes between gutsy and hardy please refer to the release notes after hardy stable version is out)

Hope it helps
