All-in-one old imagistics ix2600 Printer scanner fax

I can use it to print with the generic laser printer driver but cannot use the scanner fax functions. It is connected to my comp with a usb cable... I am running ubuntu 13.04 64 bit on my computer. Is it possible to be able to use the all-in-one fully? or atleast get simple scan or another simmilar program to recognize it? Thank You for your time...

okay the imagistic ix 2600 doesn't work with the other imagistic driver for the other model... That being said I was trying to make the scanner portion of the all in one work with the computer... Perhaps there is away to get simple scan to find my scanner...Thank You so very much for your time. I do appreciate you guys here for all you do

We need some more information about your device.
Please plug it in and switch it on, open a terminal (ctrl-alt-t) and issue the command

lsusb

then copy/paste all output into this question document.

An internet search brings up that page:
