I have a dirty volume from Windows 7

Asked by Charles R Jr

I had a dirty volume from my windows 7 OS. I went to Allex yo have my BIOS updated, they also had a low level format performed on my disk. Still i had a corrupted hard disk, so even bought new 1 tb disk. Somehow i still have a dirty/currupted volume, I'm done with microsoft/Windows forever. I currently have Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail installed as my ONLY operating system on my computer. I cant remember what app i used from Ubuntu that informed me i currently have a HIDDEN VOLUME i cant remove. Is there anything i can do, besides buy new computer. I like Ubuntu and just getting to your system ,features etc.

Use gparted and you can manipulate the partitions as you need. It is usable in Ubuntu liveCD and even has it's own CD but if you already have an Ubuntu CD you can use that
