i faced a bug during an installation process

Asked by remort

i have a bug. i need to tell you about that. and i cant use apport or whatever, because it's an "Xubuntu 13.04 32 bit CD" Installation process bug.

it's about connecting to a wifi network during installation. i choose russian language for the installation on previous steps and the text field for the wi-fi network name (ssid) is unable to change it keyboard layout. so i was able to only type russian letters in this field. any key kombinations like (L,R)ctrl+shift,(L,R)alt+shift, shift+shift are not working there for changing a layout. so i continue installation process w/o wi-fi connection.

just check it and post a bug by yourself please. or ask me if you need some additional info.

Try installing but don't connect to the web and don't select to install updates. Just do the simplest install then get updates etc one in the installed OS

Thanks

According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage#When_installing_Ubuntu_.28or_Derivatives.29 the package which you should select as target for the bug most probably is ubiquity.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask remort for more information if necessary.
