Installing ATI Radeon HD 46xx series

i want to unistall the Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV730
and install ATI driver to my hardware runs normal...
how can i do it?

~it's my first time using ubuntu

my notebook is a Toshiba Satellite L500D

Hello,

What version of Ubuntu you have ? If is 12.04 or 13.04 then you must use a PPA, because AMD has dropped the support for Linux on such graphic card models. 2xxx-4xxx.

Here is the PPA
https://launchpad.net/~makson96/+archive/fglrx

Read the description and add it and install the AMD legacy driver.
