Spacemonger's equivalent can be accomplished with a "File Size view" in Konqueror.

Konqueror is a part of KDE, but can be installed and used on Gnome (it will just be a bit slow to start up). You do not need to install all of KDE in order to use it (however, some libraries will need to be automatically installed). Someone else may have a "gnome" equivalent, but in case nobody else comes up with one, you can install Konqueror.

To install this, click on System -> Administration -> Synaptic

Search for konqueror, and mark it for installation.

As for Ccleaner, what exactly are you trying to clean up? I haven't used any sort of cleaner on my installation, and I don't have any huge files taking up cache space.

Hope this helps

PS - I have to say I'm very happy I had to google to figure out what those windows apps do, it's been oh so long since I was on windows I didn't even know those! :)
