Is this a GLib bug or do I have to fix my user account? If so, how?

Can someone please give me advice?

Kind regards,

Stefan

Tried renaming the Firefox configuration folder. I will assume you do not use Thunderbird. Close all Firefox instances and run:

mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla_old

Then launch the browser. Is it ok?

Nope, the original error persists. What is more, the faulty environment killed all bookmarks in the process after re-renaming the directory.
