mount command

I cannot get the mount command to work, and need help. Where is the right place to post the question?

Use the manual pages entry for mount "man mount" or the web copy http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/precise/en/man8/mount.8.html

The general format is
mount -t type device dir

You have to be aware that in almost all cases you need administrative rights, so it will be
sudo mount -t type device dir
