Can I install Ubuntu Studio 12.04 beside Edubuntu 12.04?

I have Edubuntu 12.04 in my computer. Now can I install Ubuntu Studio 12.04 along with this? My computer configuration something like this "MEMORY - 3.8GiB, PROCESSOR - Intel® Core™ i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz × 4, GRAPHICS - Intel® Sandybridge Desktop x86/MMX/SSE2, HARD DISC - 1TB". If possible, how?

if you install the metapackage you can use the functionality of both. There is zero gain in dual booting. In fact you'd only lose space. The underlying OS is identical.
