HP720C html printouts show abnormally small characters and no graphics in Linux

Asked by Julianloui

My HP720C printer's html printouts show no graphics and abnormally tiny characters, which I can read only with the help of a magnifying glass. How I can correct this problem?

I need to correct my original statement somewhat. I've found that not all html files' characters are printed incorrectly, as tiny characters. However, all html printouts awlays leave out the graphics. Doe this new information provide a clue to my problem?

Try grabbing the latest hplip .run file to get the latest hplip, may help. Also try other browsers to print from.

Tonight I updated my Ubuntu's software with Update Manager and switched from Firefox to Google Chrome. My HP720c still produces a printout with the same tiny characters and no graphics when I use Google Chrome to print the same html file that I referred to in my previous messages. The HP720c is my Ubuntu 12.04 system's only printer.

How and where can I find the latest hplip .run file? Thanks.

It's not in software centre. You manually download and install it.
