What are you trying to backup? Which folders?

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; apt-cache policy deja-dup

Thanks

It's calles "dev" and is located in my home folder. It contains Eclipse workspaces and SVN databases. The Folder is synced with Ubuntu One. Sometimes U1 fails to sync correctly and deletes SVN files for no reason thats why i decided to backup via deja-dup .

I suggest you report a bug. Make sure the name the deja-dup is running as has read access to the data you want to backup.

Installing package "ubuntuone-couch" solved the problem.
The Bug was previously reported
