packages for serpentine got deleted cant make cd's

somehow my serpentine and the packages for the program got deleted off my computer.
i have ubuntu 6.06 i am new and know nothing about ubuntu could someone please help me and
tell me what i need to do or wat i should do?

Open a terminal (Applications --> Accessories --> Terminal) and try this:-

alan@tp:~$ apt-cache search serpentine
serpentine - An application for creating audio CDs

alan@tp:~$ sudo apt-get install serpentine --reinstall
