Kubuntu 12.04 WACOM GUI button mapping problem

Asked by Konstantin Nikkari

Wacom Table setting GUI in Kubuntu 12.04 is not mapping Touch Ring - Ring Up button. Instead the function comes if I map Button 2. So when I map A in Button 2 and slide my Touch ring Up I get A in a program. All other buttons works just fine.

What can be done to fix this issue?

I'm using Intuos 4 Large

Thanks!

sudo wget -O /etc/udev/rules.d/libwacomfix.rules https://github.com/MagicGroup/MagicSpecLib/blob/master/libwacom/libwacom.rules

Reboot to test

I did this but didn't help.

Mapping Button 2 is not working. When I press Button 2 I get the function that I have mapped for Ring Down.
Mapping Ring Up is not working. When I press Ring Up I get the function that I have mapped for Button 3

So there is two button funtion broken.

I have updated my Kubuntu 12.04 to 4.10 KDE if that effects anything.

I was able to map buttons the way I want using xsetwacom so I assume the problem lies in Wacom GUI. Also I don't remember having this problem in Linux Mint KDE 14.

I want to have the GUI working because I need to be able to switch fast between profiles.

Any ideas?
