.../apport-gpu-error-intel.py

Asked by Pranai Vasudev

I get an error with the executable path /usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py when I boot up Ubuntu and leave it for a while. If I ignore the error, the computer seems to work fine until about 5 - 10 minutes later when it just freezes up.

I don't think I've recently installed anything that would cause this. This has started only a few days ago. I've tried updating everything from the update manager.

Can someone help me please?

I'm running a MacBook Pro with an Ubuntu partition. (Not sure of all my other specs)

Thanks!

Doing lsb_release -a gives:

 No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS
Release: 12.04
Codename: precise

And doing uname -a gives:

Linux pranai-MacBookPro 3.5.0-28-generic #48~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 24 21:43:05 UTC 2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Thanks!

If you edit /etc/default/apport you can make those errors go, should be ok after a reboot.

You can always edit it back.

Can you help with this problem?
