i have installed dual os windows 2003 with ubuntu

hello,
 first i have installed windows 2003, then i have installed Ubuntu using windows installer , after installation i reboot the system,
then i get dual os, then i select ubuntu, its loding fine, finally i got ubuntu theme but there is no icon, no text and all, please assist with this.

Hello,

May we know which version of Ubuntu you are attempting to install. It appears you used the 'wubi' tool to install Ubuntu? If so, please note that that tool does sometimes result in bad installations and has now been deprecated. I would assume your install via wubi went badly here and thus it not booting.

I would advise that you boot into Windows and then uninstall Ubuntu by going into your Programs options and uninstalling from there. Once done with that, please use either the SUSE Image Writer or Unetbootin to create an Ubuntu Live USB (it will basically put Ubuntu on your Flash/USB drive). Insert that into your computer and boot from it to allow you to run a Live Image of Ubuntu and install it directly by partitioning your disk.
