Mail Server

Asked by Ramy Al-AShram

I need to setup an easy E-mail server for my company and its clients on Ubuntu OS, the mail system delivers SMTP Server, POP3 Server, IMAP Server and Web Mail server for my business need.

I mean I need software like Microsoft exchange server, ready made and easy to install, so I don’t have to install several packages to integrate them together to obtain a complete E-mail server.

Do you have a solution for this?

Yes, this is possible.

Go to "Edit - Preferences - Calender and Tasks - General - Work Week - Week starts on"

You can even have it start on Wednesday ;-)

You can try solutions like Zimbra (www.zimbra.com) or Open-Xchange (www.open-xchange.com).
Both have Open-Source and completely free editions but those are not 100% configurable and may lack
some features, as well as enterprise versions if you want the extra goodies.

Otherwise there are probably more than a dozen ways to do it.
My favourite combination is QMail, Courier-IMAP & RoundCube but there are too many
combinations to even list here.
