does running side by side with windows 8 effect boot time

I want to install ubuntu side by side with my new lenovo system with windows 8 i7 prosesor and 24gb ssd and 500gb hdd will it effect my boot time once I pick which operating system to boot from boot menu? Thank You

No, once you select it boot will be exactly the same. However if you use WUBI to install Ubuntu it may slow down Ubuntu's boot time, but it will never affect windows.
