Need Help with Seeds and Peers in qBittorrent

While download a big file found double the Seeds amount that Peers taking more of my cap than for
my download file.
With Windows I use Bittorrent and non of this problem.
How can this be fixed?

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
While download with qBittorrent, Seeds numbers are double than Peers and taking from my Bandwidth cap more for Seeds than for my my download file, which means on the end of 1Mg file download
the total is 3MG or more taken out from my Bandwidth cap which I find exaggerated.
Download in Windows with Bittorrent was never had this problem.
I like to know if Seeds can be minimized and how
