how to change the Panel size in Ubuntu 12.04/12.10/13.04

How on earth do i change the panel text and icon size in Unity? it's very easy to do so with Cinnamon but i cant figure out how to do it in Unity.

Any ideas?

i tried this app but it doesnt let you change the Panel size. Launcher, yes, panel, no..

any other ideas?

I've tried all 4 of these apps and none let you resize the panel. the launcher, yes..
