i have 152.627mb hardisk how to partition it?installing xubuntu

would it be ok if 80000gb / ext4 primary and /swap 4096 logical and last /home primary?

with this intel atom 1.66 toshiba nb305 2gb ram?help please

You don´t need more then 10-15GB for root partition.You can make it 20GB if you want to but that is it.Swap as you told and rest for home.

I use a 10Gb partition for / but 15 or 20 is fine. I'd also uses 4.4Gb for swap if you have 4Gb RAM. Otherwise sounds like a plan

You don't need so much root space.. 80GB are too many. As for the Swap , I agree with above answers. And rest /home , yes.

With 30GB in root you can install the Entire Linux Programs..

The only thing you should care about is the kernels . Because Ubuntu does not delete the old kernels (when a new kernel arrive) , after some kernel updates you have to delete manual the old - unused kernels. (keep 2 kernels as a bakcup).

You can use a program such as .. Ubuntu Tweak to perform a Full System Cleaning.. once per month.

Install Ubuntu Tweak via terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) with following commands

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

Then you can use the JANITOR function to Clean Up your system.
