Ubuntu 12.10

I have Ubuntu 12.04. Will it be of any use to upgrade to the 12.10 version or should I just keep what I have for a while?

I have been told that when a new version comes out I should upgrade but others say, if what you have is good and working for you, don't mess with it. I had 10.04 and didnt change it until 12.04. Everything on the first virsion worked great but I like the look of the 12.04.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
