VCDs can often be played in media players if the file contains error, but doing a 1:1 copy is not possible. Did you try to copy it in another computer/operating system?

You can use vcdxrip in the package vcdimager in the meantime.

Hi,

Why Ubuntu is not doing a direct copy of Cd as like windows OS does. It will be more easy for a normal users, instead of typing a command vcdxrip. Can it be an enhancement and import the functionality of ubuntu for helping users.
