Disable Wi-Fi by default

Asked by chintalvaady

Hi All,

Due to our specific security needs we do not want our laptops to connect to wi-fi networks automatically and the wi-fi capability should be disabled by default.

I also would like to disallow the general user the capability to enable it again.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You could use iwconfig at boot to disable the interface. Users can use network manager to enable it
