Xfce

Asked by Riverrun

Trying out xfce and I can see why people like it. One thing though, I can't find my dictionary or my screen-capture and I'm wondering where they are. terminal doesn't seem to know either. Hope I haven't broken Ubuntu.

Where would they be?

I'm back in Gnome and all is well except that Thunar has appeared in Accessories. Just need to know if it's ok to use Thunar instead of Nautilus while working in the Gnome environment?

"Just need to know if it's ok to use Thunar instead of Nautilus while working in the Gnome environment?"

→ it doesn't matter - you can use programs for xfce in gnome (vice versa) with abandon (same for KDE programs...)
