cursor problems

Asked by davidzaq1

I have a problem with my curser. It seems that when I place the cursor on something, it flies off, or it jumps away from where I placed it. If I click on in a box and try to type, the cursor jumps out of the box and I end up typing somewhere else.
What is funnly is, it seems to only do it when I am in my yahoo email. It does not do it on this sity or in my libra office writer program

Does anyone know what is causing this? I have Ubuntu 12.04. I also uninstalled the flash plugin thinking that was the cause but it is still doing it.

Thank you.

I am sorry, that did not help the problem. I did not have this problem with 10.04 version.
I did not even have this problem when I updated the video driver. I think it happened when I added falsh to the computer. I uninstalled the flash plugin and there was no difference.

I wonder if it the asctual flash player causing the problem? I don't know.

Thank you,
