updates error

Today I tried to install the updates and received this error message:"W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-xorg-core_1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.1_i386.deb
  403 Forbidden". I don't know what this is about. How can I install what seems to be an important security update? This is the first time that such an error occur to me. Yesterday I installed easycam and completed my set up of ekiga. Could any of these actions having interferred with today update?

I think it is error on server... Try to upgrade this later (from my point of view this not a such important upgrade...).

Yes, I have the same problem:

W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-xorg-core_1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.1_i386.deb
  403 Forbidden

Let's hope somebody at Ubuntu fixes the server setup soon.

Same problem here today using Ubuntu 7.10 on AMD_64:

W: Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-xorg-core_1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.1_i386.deb

Oops, sorry my msg is really this:

wish I could cut and paste the error msg from the screen but it refuses to cooperate.

when I manually try to go to the link, I get this msg:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /ubuntu/pool/main/x/xorg-server/xserver-xorg-core_1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu8.1_amd64.deb on this server.
