kernel3.5 haves bugs for vbox-dkms ubu1204

ubuntu1204 ship with two versions of kernel. (linux image 3.2x and 3.5x). the vbox -dkms is compatible with kernel3.2.

while ubu1204.2 iso-image released,, it shall install kernel3.5 by default for new install. it seems that new iso-image have some bugs.

any one have the same bug for vbox?

Hi manhh,

I have the Ubuntu 12.04.2 fresh install (Kernel 3.5.0-xxx by default) and I haven't any problems on VB.

What exactly is the problem ?

Is it possible for you to install the linux-headers and linux-source and check again ?

     sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-headers-$(uname -r)
     sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic linux-source
     sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
