aMule and Azureus stopped working!

Asked by JosepZ

Since this morning's "security" update, aMule and Azureus don't run anymore. It's not that they can't find a server or have a low ID; it's just that they don't even start! I still can use Ares through Wine, but it's quite annoying not being able to finish my downloads with my favourite P2P programs. Anyone there has the same problem? Any suggestions to fix this mess?
Thanks a lot!

The recent Xorg update has caused Java applications to stop working. The problem is currently being worked on and a fix should be released soon.

Wow! That was fast! :)
Thanks a lot for your answer! I was worried thinking that the problem could be on my laptop. I had many problems with it when it ran Windows XP, but since I switched to Gutsy Gibbon it looked like a time of technological happiness had come for me at last. Now this annoying incident had led me to think: "Oh no, here we go again!"

Again, thank you very much.
