Battery Drains Quickly in my LAPTOP- Any clue to fix this issue?

Hi Team,

I have installed Ubuntu 12.10 Desktop version in my New HP Probook 4350s.
I could realize that, battery drains very quickly, when I compared with Windows OS.
Say for Ex. With Windows07 I’m getting 3.5 hours battery Life for every full charge.
But I’m getting only 1.25 hours approximately for Ubuntu.
Do you have any solution for this issue?
If yes, can you please provide me the clue to fix it?
If there is no Solution still, is there any fix in progress?

What is the output of:

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a; uname -a

I understand it is a Laptop, so you might get some clues to your most power hungry services by installing and running powertop.
