How to compose mails with a @ubuntu.com email address on a mailing list or in general...?

Hello..
How to compose mails with a @ubuntu.com email address on a mailing list or in general...?(like we do in yahoo or gmail with a @yahoo.com or with a @gmail.com address) Any info appreciated..

You have to become an Ubuntu Member to have an @ubuntu.com email address.

I m an ubuntu member... (and the @ubuntu.com mailbox is a virtual mailbox)

Bhavani,

What account do you have your @ubuntu forwarding to? I have mine forward to a gmail address. In order to send from the @ubuntu account you have to configure the account it forwards to to be able to send from that address. It's possible that not all email providers allow you to do this. Gmail does. If you are using a gmail account, go to settings and accounts and add the new address. It should be similar for other providers if they allow this.

Thanks jim.. I too use a gmail id.. and i have forwarded it to my gmail inbox.. Thanks for the info..
