how to remove nautilus from ubuntu 12.10 and install nemo as default file manager ?

how to remove nautilus from ubuntu 12.10 and install nemo as default file manager ? I dont want to install cinnamon desktop . Only want to install nemo in my gnome desktop .

Just install the application then right click a folder and set it as as the application to open folders with.

Can I remove Nautilus Without hampering my unity desktop ? I want to remove Libreoffice also . want to use abiword .
