Original Samsung sources to build Ubuntu Touch, instead CM.10

It's teorically possible to use sources o of samsung galaxy s2 i9100, by opensource.samsung.com, to build a porting for this device, instead cm 10.1 sources needed, since cm 10.1 for this device is far to be stable?

I agree, technically it is true if you only target to galaxy s2 i9100.
However the CM supports a lot of the devices. that is why the CM is chosen.
