Ubuntu phone consumer apps

Asked by Ibrahim Dan Karami

I'm interested in trying out the new Ubuntu phone OS on my Galaxy Nexus and i have two questions.

1. How easy is it to get the normal apps that we all know about and can't do without. Eg. WhatsApp and the likes. Wouldn't want to change to an OS that will cut me from people.

2. Is there a connection/ link between google (Android apps) and Ubuntu Phone OS

The whatsapp server does not shop the listing of contacts, so we can't retreive them from there.
Currently, there may be no manner to manually add contacts. Currently, the handiest manner is to sync your evolution addressbook, to get the contatcts from there https://gbwhatsapp.net/whatsapp-plus-apk/

Can you help with this problem?
