Upgrade of lucid on ASUS netbook fails

The update manager on my ASUS EE PC 901 asks me to upgrade. But it fails, with the following message:

Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox_18.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1_i386.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.200 80]
Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox-branding_18.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1_i386.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.200 80]
Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox-gnome-support_18.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1_i386.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.200 80]
Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/f/firefox/firefox-locale-en_18.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1_i386.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.200 80]

I'm running Lucid, with the 2.6.32-45-generic kernel.

Suggestions, please. Should I get these files from somewhere else?

Run:

sudo apt-get update

first. Lucid is EOL in April 2013. After which you will get zero support and zero updates.
