problems with wireless home network passwords

I put a wireless card in my Dell, Ubuntu 12.04 I set up a home network. no aparent problems, my windows 7 see the network but it will not accept the security coad, it states that it is the wrong security code. no its not. On the Dell, (the source computer) the WEB 128 bit passphrase is the only security that it will accept. On my Ubuntu laptop it see the network but the connect tab won't light up. in the authentication window

I would say yes. Its skybeam. i have a dish in the roof
