How do you find the print queue dialog box

Asked by dustbindiva

My printer has stopped working even though it is detected by the computer. I dont know how to proceed. The printer is powered on but when I go to print, nothing happens. It was fine before I installed version 12.04. Did that change anything?

In the system settings -> printer you can right click the printer and see the queue.

Nothing happens when I go to System Setting > Printers except a dialog box opens which I have seen before. In Systems Settings the Printer icon cannot be right-clicked.

I cleared out the Print Jobs queue but when I try to print again, a desktop message says job is printing (then it disappears) but when I go to print queue it says job stopped.

Try turning the printer off. Right click the printer and delete it. Reboot the OS and log in then turn on the device. Set it up again and it may help.
