How do I move back to Ubuntu?

I'm currently using the latest version on Lubuntu but want to go back to Ubuntu. Can I move back to Ubuntu via terminal commands or must I insert a Ubuntu Live Cd in?

Installing ubuntu-desktop package will grab all of the packages in a normal Ubuntu install.
