Download the current release of Gparted and burn it to a disc.
Here it is:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gparted/files/gparted-live-stable/0.14.1-6/gparted-live-0.14.1-6-i486.iso/download

Place the disc in your computer and start it up. Tell it to "Run Gparted Live". Several generic questions pop up in, just hit <Enter> to them all.

You should get to a basic desktop screen with only a few icons. The Gparted program will already be running. Select your HDD on the right side, it should look like /dev/sda. Select the partition with Ubuntu you want to remove, ex. /dev/sda2. Click on "Partition" and then "Delete". WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHICH PARTITION IS WHICH!!! Hit the "Apply" button when ready. After you are done you can resize the Windows 7 partition to fill the entire HDD if you want.

Have fun!

How did you install Ubuntu? Did you resize your NTFS to make room for the Ubuntu install or did you run Wubi from within Windows and install that way?

Thanks

Now you must boot from a DVD of Windows and fix MBR.. is not difficult .. 2 commands in "Command Prompt".

See here this Video .. MUTE it , because no matters but the language is Greek.. , Just see the procedure and you will understand.

Oh, had the same problem.. If you need to save data you can try to boot the computer with a Ubuntu disk and copy out what you need. After that I simply deleted all partitions (otherwise remnant of grub is still there) and then I installed Windows 7 from the recovery disc like nothing had been there before. Just let the win7 disc partionate and format the hard drive, then grub dissapear.
