Where do I, or how do I get updates for Unbuntu

I have Unbuntu 7.10 and I cannot remember how to get updates for it.

1. System-->Adminstration-->Update Manager or

2. Synaptic or Adept package manager or

3. At terminal: sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade.

Thank you all for your help, it was a dry i nstal off disk and for somereason it didn't auto update, and I haven't used Unbuntu for awhile so I had forgotten, so thank you guys.
