eee pc 2g surf

iam having a asus eee pc 2g surf..recently i format default linux os on it & reload windows xp usb version with with usb stick.due storage prob..but its doesnt help me much..so i want reload back the ubuntu on to it .how can i do that ..? which version & from where i have to download ? any one plz guide ..thz

I think you should install ubuntu with lxde.

please http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/ to download offical ubuntu with lxde.
