Wireless in a HP Notebook dv2000

Asked by Navegante

I have Kubuntu 7.10 installed in HP Pavilion dv2000. I'd like that my notebook detects the wireless networks, but it doesn't for that. Could you please help me? I had Windows Vista before and it detected all the wireless connections and an icon appeared in the system tray.

Thanks,

Is the wifi card "Broadcom Corporation Dell Wireless 1390" (found with google)?
For this card I have found super How-To → http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=297092

Can you help with this problem?
