[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: PMC - unhandled INTR 0x00040000

Asked by CHOI Ga Lam

The message '[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: PMC - unhandled INTR 0x00040000' is repeating endlessly in virtual terminals.
Well, there is not much hassle in working with Gnome,
but I simply cannot do anything in virtual terminals because I cannot see what I have typed in, because of those messages.

This may help.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bumblebee

I have seen far too many issues with the Optimus mess and imho it is best avoided.

Hello,

I'm having this same issue on startup with the same model, can't get into the terminal to install bumblebee. Any ideas?
